Sunset Blues Band (Pee Wee Crayton) - Funky Blues

Sunset budget label recording for the United Artists/Liberty group from 1969 featuring Pee Wee with session group. Pee Wee's name is not credited on the LP liner but a fine outing nevertheless. Pee Wee admitted he did not know what happened to this material after he recorded it.
Has been re-released years ago on Charly records.

Thanks for this very very rare LP! I think I stumbled upon this one on the music stores' shelves two or three times but I didn't buy it because I was then not aware that it was a Pee Wee Crayton's LP. Not as great as the Vanguard LP of the same period but nevertheless quite interesting.

Glad you enjoyed the LP Gerard. It was amongst a pile of LP's that I recently bought. I didn't know Pee Wee was on it either until I did a bit of Googling.

Just bought this LP at a record swap for $2. My first introduction to Pee Wee Crayton. What a great album!
